ABOUT
Tyndall Wells

Tyndall Wells is a cinematographer and editor based in Oregon, with extensive experience shooting and cutting projects that span commercial work and expedition filmmaking. His work has taken him from Kazakhstan to Indonesia and includes involvement in major brand campaigns for companies such as The North Face and Columbia.

For expedition driven projects, Tyndall brings advanced mountain travel and backcountry experience to the table, enabling athlete-level access in the most remote and demanding environments. He lives in Japan during the winter months and is available internationally for productions requiring both technical precision and deep field experience.

Tyndall shoots motion picture film as a primary format and is the owner-operator of a K4 16mm camera, one of only 22 ever produced. The K4 accepts PL-mount cinema lenses, outputs an HDMI video feed for on-set monitoring, and delivers consistently precise imagery, placing it comfortably within the demands of the highest level productions.
